Green Vitamin Infusion

½ large | apple |
½ | kiwi |
1 handful | baby spinach |
1 tsp | lemon juice |
1 cm | fresh ginger |
1 tsp | raw sugar |
100 ml | water |

This drink is a true immune system booster. Baby spinach is rich in many micronutrients, including vitamins K, A, C and folate; and the minerals iron, calcium, magnesium and potassium. Folate offers cardiovascular benefits and promotes a healthy pregnancy. Kiwi is very rich in vitamin C (richer than oranges) and also contain a high amount of potassium and a good amount of beta-carotene.

Peel and deseed the apple.

Cut the kiwi into half and scoop out the contents with a spoon.

Mix apple, kiwi, baby spinach, lemon juice, ginger, raw sugar, water and ice cubes into a smooth drink. Serve immediately.
